Charles Leclerc of Scuderia Ferrari finished just 0.037 seconds behind, achieving a remarkable 1:21.278. Leclerc noted, "We are fighting closely with the Mercedes, and while we didn’t get the pole, I’m confident we can compete in the race."
Completing the top three was Charles's teammate Carlos Sainz, who crossed the line with a time of 1:21.447. "It was a solid lap, but I believe there’s more to come in the race," Sainz remarked post-session.

Lando Norris demonstrated a strong performance, taking fourth with a time of 1:21.578 for McLaren. The young driver expressed, "The car felt good, and I think we’ve found a sweet spot with our setup. We can be contenders if we keep this up."
Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin also made headlines by securing sixth place, finishing at 1:21.608. "I’m excited about the race pace. Overall, it’s been a positive day for us," he shared.
Lewis Hamilton, a veteran of the sport and also driving for Mercedes, clocked in seventh at 1:21.637. Hamilton commented, "We've got work to do, but I’m feeling good about our chances. It’s all about the race strategy from here."
