"It was a bit of a tricky race with the tire management, but we managed to find a good balance in the end," said Verstappen, reflecting on the challenges he faced during the race.
Sergio Perez, Verstappen's teammate at Red Bull Racing, secured second place, finishing with a time of +5.384 seconds behind. Perez acknowledged the strong performance from Verstappen, stating, "We had a good strategy, and I was pushing him, but Max was just on another level today."
Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin claimed the third podium position, crossing the finish line with a gap of +26.305 seconds to the winner. His consistent performance throughout the race did not go unnoticed: “I’m happy to be back on the podium. The car felt good, and it was a solid team effort,” said Alonso.

George Russell of Mercedes finished fourth, about +33.229 seconds behind Verstappen. "We had some competitive laps, but we need to work on our pace if we want to challenge for wins consistently," Russell remarked, underlining the gaps that still exist between the top teams and his squad.
Carlos Sainz of Ferrari rounded out the top five, finishing +42.511 seconds behind the leader. Sainz added, “We battled hard throughout the race, but the traffic and tire degradation made it tough. We need to analyze our performance to improve further in the next races.”
Notably, Verstappen’s fastest lap was recorded at 1:29.708, showcasing his dominance on the day. After the race, Red Bull Racing's team principal Christian Horner stated, "Max proved once again why he is the reigning champion. The team's performance today signifies our strength as we head deeper into the season."
