"Winning the Australian Grand Prix feels amazing, especially with the support from the team," said Lando Norris, who clinched victory on multiple days, including the race on Sun, Mar 16. Norris not only secured the win but also captured the pole position during the event, setting a positive tone for the season ahead.
The Australian weekend also highlighted fellow McLaren driver Oscar Piastri, who showcased his potential by taking home victories on both Fri, Mar 14 and Sat, Mar 15. "I'm thrilled to contribute to our team's success here in Australia, and it gives me a lot of confidence moving forward," Piastri remarked after his strong finishes.
As the teams moved to the Heineken Chinese Grand Prix at Shanghai International, the competitiveness continued. Lando Norris continued his form, winning again on Thu, Mar 20, and reaffirming his position as a top contender for the championship right from the start.
"Consistency is key, and I’m happy to deliver it again this weekend," said Norris, who also took the pole at the Chinese Grand Prix. However, he wasn't the only McLaren driver in the spotlight.
Lewis Hamilton, driving for Ferrari, also made an impact, securing victories on Fri, Mar 21. "The team and I are working hard to bridge the gap, and it's always thrilling when you can back up your speed with results," Hamilton noted.
Oscar Piastri continued his impressive display, winning both the qualifying and race events leading into Sun, Mar 23. “We’ve had a great start to the season; it’s all about keeping this momentum going throughout all the races,” Piastri commented.
